first time
i was there last spring and found the experience both exhilarating & pulsating. The atmosphere and climate was refreshing & intoxicating on a personal note. Although i am not into the "leather scene" the music & bar itself was a pleasant surprise. I would cretainly return there on my next trip in springtime 2010!
my springtime visit!
i try and get to montreal/ottawa at least once a year usually in early to late spring time if possible.i come alive in spring and summer which i refer to as my "phoenix rising". Montreal itself is a facinating cultural place to explore. The bar taboo is great, dynamic but needs more diversity and infusion od different unique and enigmatic people A.K.A dancers to attract an even larger clientele. As well as interior and exterior rennovations more "gay suitable" to a more broad based environment. On the whole i loved taboo and the other strip bars in the vicinity( sad to hear about l'adonnis but c'est la vie) out of its demise shall perhaps rise a new male strip bar. We shall see!
