The first main event takes place on the first Sunday of Oktoberfest, on September 22nd, know as Gay Sunday in the Bräurosl, with tens of thousands of gay guys celebrating with loads of German beer. This is the most popular event but not the only gay party that takes place during Oktoberfest, the Bräurosl beer tent is just one of 14 tents on the Theresienwiese fairground.
