My partner and I decided to check out Papi Fun Bar because we liked the name and the colorful signage out front. It was a younger crowd for sure -- mostly early 20s, a couple of guys in their 30s, and then me! It was a good place for an early drink, had a good energy, and we did become friends with a couple of the "older" guys. Worth checking out.

I checked out Tom's while I was in Mexico City because of the bountiful amount of good reviews and it did not disappoint. It's just a fun place with nice areas to socialize, hot videos playing, good play space out back and fully-nude strippers with raging hard-ons and hot asses. This is definitely probably the best all-around bar I've ever been to (and I've been to lots!) and draws a really good mixed crowd with lots of attractive, cleancut guys. It's not in the Zona-Rosa/Calle Amberes gay jam, but it's a quick and cheap taxi ride away from that area.

I had ruled out going here when I visited Mexico City this past weekend because the title says it's closed. Luckily, I met a couple of locals at Papi Fun Bar who took us here and by no means is it closed. The upstairs was a nice place to get a drink and socialize with our new friends, while downstairs looks like it had potential as a cruisy alternative later on. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to find out as we moved on to other places. But this place is definitely open and I'm curious as to why this says closed!

Fun bar that always packs a crowd for their Sunday Beer Blast. Always a good mix of people. About as sleazy and cruisy a bar as is allowed in NYC these days. The workers do keep anything from going too far but still a pretty fun time.
