    Great location, Nice hotel

Spent three nights there, very relaxing. Comfortable beds, rooms although small were well appointed. The turn down service with the chocolates and turning on the music was a nice touch when being out on the town all day. If you are able to have a meal in the restaurant do so, the food was fantastic. It is right in the heart of downtown just minutes from everything you may want to see in Ottawa. There are three coffee shops on the next corner so you don't have to worry about where you are going to get your next caffeine fix early in the morning. Thing I didn't like was the WIFI was only available in the lounge and lobby area, would have liked to have access in my room.

    Great service

Decided it was time to get a couple of custom made shirts. I found the staff at Barney's to be genuinely interested in making sure that I was getting the right fit and selection of cloth. They went out of their way to make me comfortable and though it was the first time I ever had a fitting I came away knowing that I made the right decisions. I received the shirts six weeks later and can say I am ver happy with the purchase. Next time I am in San Francisco I will be stopping by again and getting a few more shirts, once you get this type of service you want to go back.

    Impressive

Impressive is the only thing that sums up the Met. From the Egyptian temple that is built indoors, the rooftop garden to the European art that spans the last 500 years you can find something that will interest you. A note is the admittance fee, it says suggested.

The Best meal I have had in New York to date

Didn't know anything about this place until a Japanese friend said I had to go there if I was in New York, she raved about the cookbook and the owners take on oriental noodles. I can honestly say watching the guys prepare the meals in front of me added to the enjoyment of the night, a cute one caught my eye and just made the watching that more enjoyable. The food was fresh and I can honestly say some of the best noodles I have ever had. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water, god they were good.

    never again

Stayed overnight to do a little shopping in Toronto, can say I was totally underwhelmed. The room was in need of a reno, it was so tired that I thought I was staying at my aunt marge's house that hadn't seen a gallon of paint in 20 years. I was charged a couple of weeks later an extra 85 dollars, contacted the accounts department and still haven't got any satisfaction as to why I was charged extra. There was no robe in the room , something I like to have when I am travelling and just want to relax after being on the go all day long. The only thing positive I can say about the place is the location, it is very central if you want to be downtown central. There are too many other good hotels in Toronto to bother staying in this one.

    great burger, great drinks

had a manhattan cocktail at the bar before being shown to my table. Bartender was very cute and made the best manhattan I have ever had...very strong and tasty. Can't beat the burgers, done exactly as I wanted, no surprises. I try burgers everywhere I go and this one ranks in the top 5. Mouthwatering perfection, not as greasy as the place at the Parker meridian. Th wait staff was very attentive even though it was extremely busy. Its a good sign that with the place as packed as it was (waited for 45 minutes to be seated) that I still got full attention from the waiter. Looking forward to my next visit.
