    I Love This Place

Very authentic French bistro food. Having lunch here reminds me of many places I have eaten in the South of France. It's not fancy, but the meals are served impeccably, and cooked n the French style. Yesterday was my 3rd visit, I had the brisket sandwich which was wonderful and tasty with swiss cheese, and BBQ sauce on it. I ordered it with the fries, which were the best I have ever tasted. They were fully cooked, and crispy on the outside. My partner had the Moules with the mariniére broth (you have a voice of several broths) . Frites, (steamed mussels with fries) a standard French lunch item. The omelette at the table next to us looked awesome. The staff all seems to be French speaking, as well as English, so go there if you want to practice your French ordering skills too!

A great Place to go on the Beach

If you are looking for beach side dining this is the spot to go. Don't hesitate to use the valet for parking, it very difficult to find a parking out at the beach, it's worth it. It's a busy place, sometime live music inside, warm and breezy on the outside patio. I had the fish sandwich which was hot and tasty, my partner had the cold seafood platter, which was amazing with oysters, lobster, shrimps, etc, a huge meal with a beautiful presentation. Wait staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients, they were friendly and helpful both times I was there.

    Great Dockside Dining

Came here with friends a few days ago for lunch. I really liked the place. Service was friendly, but a little slow getting our food out. It's sort of basic bar food that they serve for lunch, our orders were accurate, and drinks and refills came out promptly. Great views of the inter coastal waterway. A great place if you are not looking for anything fancy, but want a nice view in a pleasant setting. Pay parking in a cover garage is available across the street so the was very convenient.

    Great Subs, Ambience Needs Improvement

I've been to this place twice and both times it fell short. First the good news, the subs are great. imaginative names, great combinations of ingredients. My oder came out right both times. I'd recommend this place to order subs to bring home to consume. I wish they had more heart healthy side dishes to go with the subs. As a dining experience, it lacks a lot. The tables and seating are uncomfortable at best. Like many sub shops I have been to, it's in a small space and it's limited by the facility if is in, However, it's just not an inviting place to eat, the decor is frumpy.

    Hot Hairy Men

Don't be intimidated by the hardcore look of the place, guys are as friendly here as other places, there are some who are the hardcore or fetish crowd that like to hang with guys who are into similar things but most guys here are looking to chat, drink, cruise, or just have fun. I like the outdoors bar where the music is not so loud and you can talk. The bartenders are friendly.

    A Man's Bar

I've been a regular at the eagle for about a year now. Don't go here if you expect pretty leather "bois" and hundreds of people living it up every night. Atlanta eagle has more of a feel of a neighborhood bar on most nights. Saturday night after 10:30 is the busiest. Hardcore leather every night? no. But if you like masculine guys, regular Joes, bluecollar types, or big men, this is the place to go in Atlanta. I've always found the bartenders to be friendly and helpful. Even the hardcore leather/piercings guy in the leather shop is a sweetheart once you chat him up. The atmosphere is a bit seedy but that's one thing Ilke aboutthe place. One should be careful if you are parking in the neighborhood behind the bar, there have been muggings in that area. Parking anywhere within a block off of Ponce I consider safe. Eagle parking lot is small but come early and you can usually get a spot. Most week nights, the entrance is off the back parking area and not the front door on Ponce.
