    Bavarian Favourites galore

    Bavarian beer is strong and the secret is in eating good food with your beer... The restaurant section of the gay complex Deutsche Eiche serves just that. The portions are usually what they are in Bavaria: big. Local favourites and decent Bavarian 'Schmankerl' (= special delicacies) and it has a nice selection of local beers and wines.

    Premier Bavarian Bathhouse.

    This is certainly one of the best saunas in all Germany and on the continent... whats more: it is big but also clean and safe! Most saunas have problems with cleanliness and hygiene, but this one is certainly spotless... whats more: in true Bavarian style, there is a proper (!) restaurant inside the bathhose, serving glorious Bavarian beers and yummy Bavarian foods so you can easily spend an entire day in there and forgetting abt time.... nice lounge too and if you dont get laid, you come out relaxed nevertheless... Yes, its not cheap, but its great value for money! Highly recommended!

    Open food Bavarian Style!

    Ever wondered why Munich is called Italy's most northerly city? Well, think no more, as the Viktualienmarket is THE outdoor open food scene that you recognize from the MEditerranean or even further afield... the laid back Bavarian atmosphere give it that special touch on top of the marvellous choices of really fresh produce.

    mostly now a lezzie place, with gay/bi friends always welcome, staff are friendly food is kind of bavarian-fusion style and nice.
