Sexy and sophisticated

Location is probably one of the club's best assets, being directly in the center of the grand central station appeal of Columbus, Ohio's Short North District. Other attractions include hefty libations and sexy quick-serve barmen, throwing the typical Jack N Coke's as well as their own special blends from the Columbus Washington Apple to the locally beloved secret-recipe ShockTart shot. Nina West is the icon behind much of the entertainment, with musically inspired stage shows ranging from 10 sell out performances to the more intimate one-woman candlelight experiences locals crave. Often, a younger crowd is found, and many patrons will often barhop to many of the other LGBTQ venues nearby. Very popular, strong drinks, cute boys, high energy

This place is not to be missed, if you want to meet a lot of GLBT or like-friendly people in one spot. It is also in the prime area for art galleries, wine tasting, shopping and other fun things to do. It's only a short walk to many other great places such as Axis Nightclub, Havana Video Lounge, Exile and Level bar/restaurant. There are always new botiques and shoppes opening up in the area and Union won't be leaving anytime soon. Happy hours are nearly always busy and usually stays busy until 2am, even on odd days like Monday, when they have Karaoke. I'm a bit biast, since I help out with events and promotions, so I have tried to only state facts in this review. I love the other bars in the area and am happy that COLUMBUS was rated #4 Gay city nightlife/bar scene in the world by GayCities.com! Totally deserves it, this is a scene worth the trip.
