Great design, staff and entertainment.

I was visiting Dallas recently and heard my friend Mark Alan Smith would be performing at Brick. I loved the design. The staff at the door was super friendly and made me feel welcome. The place feels elegant and sexy/masculine at the same time. Great job. My friend Mark's show was as good or better than I remember from the year's I followed him when I lived in Dallas. I've heard he is now going to be doing a Sunday night Cabaret show. He does character voices...live! You'll love it, funny and intelligent! I loved the see through stage between the two bars and the dj was great. Small smoking patio out front was nice too. Overall, one of the best nights in a gay bar in years.

New Location is a hit!

Paco's Ranch did well by moving across the street and down a few doors next to Liquid and Roxy. Great sound, drag shows and special performances (not to mention fair drink prices/cover charges) make this the place to be if you want to meet local Mexican men and tourists who appreciate the more down to earth feel of the place. It's packed on weekends and fun on other nights. I've been about 3 times since they moved mid April and I'm really loving the new space. Check it out.

authentic fun, with a gay twist

Frida's has been serving the locals and tourists for the past 9 years and I've been there several times a year for 8 of them. I've met many wonderful people from all over the world in this unpretentious slice of Mexican heaven. The decor pays homage to Frida Kahlo, Mexico's female folk hero and culture icon. Owner's Tom and Luis always hand you a shot of the best tasting tequila in Mexico if they find out it's your first time in the bar. If you don't meet a few friends here, you won't like Mexico at all.
