OMG!! So Nice and for reasonanble price!

Can't go wrong with this one, excellent food (freshly made) and service!

Charming but sophisticated

Charm and gay culture coming together in this Victoria style home turned into a bar, but be warned, this is a southern gentlemen's liaison, meaning you have to bring it when you come here, and not look like a frat boy. It is a place for snobs to some extent so do not be offended if you do not feel like you fit in, just bring your own friends and you will have a good time people watching at least... they also have karaoke nights during the week.

Very sad place but OK for what its worth

Very sad in comparison to real swing bars like the one in Atlanta, well, there is just no comparison, but you do get what you paid for in this place, $3 to $5 bucks in comparison with $10 to $15 dollars which makes more sense if more reputable and better dancers... they got the space looking good but the dancers are pretty sad, so go at your own risk.

Very good value

Unique and center, this place brings southern cooking and ecleptic atmosphere together, very gay and family friendly. Friendly staff. And the prices for the entrees can't be beat. It reminded me about Crazy Fish which is about a mile further down Central except that The Dish is better established and situated in the heart of this neighborhood. Caution on taking your first date here though, at your own risk, I took a guy here and he behaved like a snob, so this is not the place for a snob, OK? LOL, this is really a down to earth place where the food is really decent and the prices are at great value so you will be satisfied :-) I promise.

Down to earth bar scene

Regardless of this place old reputation (leather daddies/bears), today it is just a down to earth bar scene, not for those who are looking for a dance club, but simply a lounge in a woodshed scene while remembering or celebrating its history (if you go on Saturday they actually have a booth with kinky leather items, kind of fun to check out, lol) and meeting your average gay joe or catch up with friends. The drinks are sold at good value here, and membership is too. The rocking chairs in the front, or the outdoor area in the back are hot areas, the inside is dark and could use some work but if there was a day to go, it would be Sunday because that's when the really nice people show up I think, Saturday is fun too, but Sunday is more family/friend theme with the buffet at 6PM and kareoke after that, really fun time...

Outstanding B&B

Best B&B I have been in to date, I still have not forgotten the experience. I went there for 30th birthday, the hospitality is amazing, couldn't have ask for better staff, and the guests were really nice too, most of them were loyal customers so I was not surprised, I will definatley come back.

Charming place in Midtown

This is a must visit, very charming, good service and food, too bad I was too early for Sunday brunch, I want to try that famous bloody Mary I keep hearing about, lol...

Very down to earth, authentic bar... not leather at all.

This bar has a lot of character, bringing together people of all ages, featuring bars, lounges, and line dancing, watching cowboys dance is so hot, and at times romantic, especially when you saw the couples together, lesbian and gays, young and old, very different atmosphere, wish we had a similar place back home. Oh and contrary to the general description here, I did not see any leather scene, no shirtless guys, so I do not know why it says that on here, this was all cowboy, OMG, some of them boys with that hat, so handsome, :-)

very good quality of service

I had a good time with friends here while visiting, they even upgraded us to city view for no extra charge, and boy was the view worth the stay here, very nice because you are facing downtown Atlanta from midtown ;-)

good number of quality strippers

a bit lacking on the table service part, but my review focuses more on the stripper part and this place has really good eye candy ones ;-)

wow, they actually serve fried plantains

The plantains are phenomal, if you order something strong in spices, this side item is perfect, otherwise the burgers are great, and the staff very friendly and extremely acomodating, Omg, my vegiterian friend went with me, and no matter how much they tried he was hard to pleased, so not recommended for veggie eaters.

a wonderful tavern at the end of midtown

I could not have asked for better service on my first night in Atlanta,quality of food and service for the price cannot be beat in this location,will definately visit again.

Plush indeed...

Very sophisticated atmosphere, grab a coktail and simply lounge with a friend, good times, music could use some toning down, I don't get why several bars have to play music so loud, jeez... there is got to be one gay bar in this town that can at least understand that, ... so my search continues.... :-)

Ok but...

I thought the music was way way too loud, but if all you want is to dance with strangers and be submerged into that scene with nothing to talk about, then this is the place for you, drink, and dance until you are satisified :-)

Good for video lovers of all ages

This is another decent bar in DC gay area, the main theme is music videos so if you like to drink, socialize a little (music is bit too loud to talk I felt so just smiling or winking at other guys might be better, ;-) hehee) while apreciating good music videos, this is a good place for you.

Very nice facilities

I was really amazed at the size of this club, great conditions met, anyone should be able to have a great time here, early evening happy hours makes drinks easy to get, and no charge at the front is a big plus so you can enjoy yourself inside even more, ;-), come visit this place if you are town and just looking for a friendly gay hangout, this places is for everybody, :-), great music, dance, and shows...
