Palace Reboot - Not Worth It
Sooooo Palace has moved locations, closer to Twist, so that’s a positive. But the vibe is very much different, drinks over priced and water downed. It’s basically a typical Ocean Drive tourist straight bar with shirtless bus boys. I don’t know if the rent on the new place is too high or they just want a bigger profit. But I won’t waste my time here again. -
Stay Away
Went to Colombia on Friday night during Mardis Gras, one would think it would be packed and well full of gays how mistaken we were. Got to the bar downstairs about half empty and a line to get upstairs. When we finally did it was also half empty with the majority of patrons being straight couples. It appeared the line was manufactured to make one believe it was busy. As for the drinks, over priced and watered down. We spent $150 and left more sober than when we came in. We would have left except we waited too long hoping it would get better and got locked in. I would suggest you avoid this place at all costs. It's a shitty straight bar that hangs a gay flag.
