Wreck Beach is actually a huge area in Pacific Spirit Regional Park, and if you only see the "Main Beach", you're missing out on the whole gay part! "Main Wreck Beach", the busy one at the bottom of the trail 6 stairs that's in all the tourist brochures, is almost entirely heterosexual, but a local secret that the tourists don't know about is the huge area encompassing about 1.5 kilometers of waterfront to the south, including Oasis Beach and Pebble Beach, which is mostly gay, mostly nude and is extremely cruisy. To get to Oasis Beach you can go down to the bottom of the Trail 6 stairs from Marine Drive, then turn left and hike about 20 minutes or about 3/4 km until you get to the big sandy area. Oasis beach itself is very cruisy, mostly nude, and the "gay ratio" here is about 90%, but the real action takes place in the trails uphill on the other side of the trail from the beach (discretion is mandatory however as a few families still walk down the main trail here). You can also access Oasis Beach from the Trail 7 stairs off of Old Marine Drive, where there is more parking (Old Marine Drive itself is also very cruisy). Turn right at the bottom of the Trail 7 stairs and hike for about 15 minutes. Pebble beach is about another 3/4 km south of Oasis Beach, and tends to be even more gay and more cruisy than Oasis Beach, as very few straight people, families and park rangers come to this part of the park. To get to Pebble Beach, turn left at the bottom of the Trail 7 stairs and hike for about 15 minutes past Strip Beach, another thin sandy area which is mostly nude and also very cruisy. Or, if you're coming from Oasis Beach, just continue south for about another 3/4 km.

Very nice place in a great location! Admission pays for an 8-hour stay here as opposed to only 6 hours at the other bath houses. The beds are at the perfect height, at least for me as a 5'11" male, but I can see why smaller people might not like them. You can also pay extra to get a larger room and bed. Awesome hot tub, always clean, and a great steamroom too which has a control on the outside of the door so you can adjust the temperature if it gets too hot or cool. Great dark room and two-level glory hole setup, too. Best times to come here seem to be late nights Friday and Saturday or holidays after the bars close. Always a good mix of guys here, all shapes, races and ages, and because it's not in a sketchy neighbourhood like the other bathhouse, it tends to get a better quality of clientele. Very popular with tourists and foreign students, too.
