    Charming!

Friends of mine came in to visit for the electronic musical festival last year and stayed here (my place was already full nearby). It is gay owned by super-nice guys. The house is fantastic and is a shining example of old Detroit architecture. The neighborhood surrounding the B&B looks shaky, but rest assured that the owners of these historic homes in the Woodbridge district are slowly but surely restoring them to their original splendor. Nice rooms and attentive owners.

    After-hours

Great place for after-hours dancing with the curcuit-boy crowd on Saturdays...open til 6am if the crowd stays late enough. Closes at 4 if the crowd is smaller. Good DJs and dance room with a lounge in the front room. Yeah, there are alot of straight club kids there at times, but only because the Works brings in good local and international DJs.

    After-hours

The only time this place is tolerable is for after-hours if you still wanna hang out.

    Fun Place

Pronto is a complex...restaurant, bakery, bar. Happy hour is good here with less attitude than on weekend nights (yes - the "stand and model" crowd definitely invades on weekends. Great place for brunch, lunch or dinner especially in the summer when the patio is open.

    Ghetto in the Ghetto

The club was fun for about one year when it first opened (after-hours at the time). Now it has descended into a nightmare.

    Delightfully Trashy

Well - GiGi's is GiGi's - that sums it up. The bar is older and dated looking, the clientele leans toward trashy and young. They replaced their long-time staple drag queen (who was a riot!) with some crude, non-funny ("she" thinks by saying the f-word repeatedly she is being funny - not so), loud, talentless ugly queen. I cannot stress how terrible the show is... On the other hand, I always have fun when I go. The dance floor is small and crowded between go-go shows, and the music is good, but also leans toward "ghetto-booty" rather than typical club dance music. Go-go boys are all skinny as hell and queeny, but cute.

    Fun and Friendly

Its definitely the people that make this place what it is. Fun and friendly crowd. I have luckily never been there for karaoke. Great place on Sunday night...always full. Don't worry about it being smokey after May 1st, 2010. Full smoking ban goes into effect here in Michigan on that date.
