DO NOT DO IT. One of my friends used to stay at this hotel when it was owned by the original owners and used to love it -- he won't be back. My understanding is they have since passed and it was inherited by a niece that is only there for the money. My recent stay at this hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. The complete absence of hot water made showering impossible, adding a layer of discomfort to the already appalling conditions. The dated and downright disgusting state of the hotel left me questioning my decision to stay here. This place is a definite no-go, and I strongly advise against subjecting yourself to such a dismal experience. 11 day stay, 5 days with no hot water, one day with no water at all. Only positives at all were the staff. Housekeeping was great, bar staff are nice. When we inquired about a discount for the horrible condition at the end of the stay, we were told the owner would not offer a discount but would offer us a discount on an upcoming stay. Unfortunately we are never coming back.
