    monte christo with fries!

    It can be busy or dead, the vagaries of a 24/7 eatery. The food is pretty basic but good. Been going for years, and like the business during the day, the waitstaff and food varies a little but it's more regularly high quality. IMHO a must- try in the Castro.

    A casual atmosphere and good, straightforward menu make this a regular haunt for me and my partner.

    better on the inside

    Don't let the bad strip mall exterior stop you. This place is a real restaurant inside. They have good food and a nice atmosphere. Our waitress had a sense of humor and seemed to enjoy helping us. A good experience and worth return visits.
