The Golden Rainbow Center - SAGE provides a safe, supportive, welcoming and active environment that promotes health, wellness, and social programs to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) community in the Coachella Valley. The Center's programs and support services, which promote vibrant aging and positive images of LGBT persons, connect and unite men, women, families, and friends who share similar needs and concerns at all stages of life. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. We encourage you to stop by and see our facility! Golden Rainbow Center, a proud affiliate of SAGE (Services and Advocacy for GLBT Elders), is the world's oldest and largest nonprofit agency dedicated to serving and advocating for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) seniors. Since SAGE was founded in 1978, activists in a number of communities around the country have started their own SAGE affiliates to serve and advocate for LGBT seniors. SAGE works with affiliates in cities like Milwaukee, St. Louis, Salt Lake City, Buffalo to make life better for older adults in their home communities and across the country.
