The Fantastic Eagle

When I moved to Dallas, all I heard about was the haughtiness and generally bad attitudes found in the Dallas club scene, also known as Dallitude. I don't consider myself a scenester by any stretch of the imagination but I do like to go out and have fun with my friends in a nice chill atmosphere. The Eagle is the place that I found to best fit my needs. Most cities have a bar called Eagle that is part of an international alignment of bars that cater to the Leather, Levi's, and fetish crowd. That scene and name sometimes scare people from coming but you shouldn't let that deter you from attending the Dallas Eagle. The bartenders and staff are the nicest and most proficient out of all the Dallas bars. Their Trash Disco is amazing, their pint night (at which you get to keep the special pint glass) is always new and unique, Mama Payne's Trivia Night is probably the most fun trivia in town, and their fundraisers for groups across DFW are some of the best fun for a cause. All in all, any trip to Dallas should definitely include a trip to the Eagle, or if you are a local you should at least check in once a week.
