It's about what you would expect...

It's a dance club/bar. As far as dance clubs go, I suppose it's a good one. I will say that the times I have gone, the bartenders tended to be rude as hell and couldn't make a vodka martini to save their lives. If you're into dancing and watching fresh-from-the-closet club kids revel in how wonderful they think they are, then this is a good place for you.

Great neighborhood bar

The Federal has a quality beer selection and good food. It can get cramped when busy, but it is still a great place to grab a beer.
