LGB, but no Ts allowed in Hawks !!

After getting turned away at Entourage, my crossdressed boyfriend and I came here. For no other reason than he was crossdressed, we were denied entry. I found the Studios to be more friendly for us.

LGB, but no T's allowed in this place !

I entered here with my male friend who was dressed as a female. This place DISGRACED themselves by denying service to transgendered and crossdressed persons. The same situation exists at Hawks. Take them to the Studios to hang out.

It's Okay for Starters

This is a good place for young or older lesbians, but the other half ( gay men )are easily there too. Specials aplenty right now. After midnight on friday and saturday is $10 all you can drink well liquor. You can get $2 well drinks on wendsdays and thursdays too. Drag shows occur on wendsdays, fridays, and saturdays. Dancing follows. Less crowded, plus drink specials, than Piranha across the street.

Make sure you count your change quick. otherwise it's the cheapest place to drink in the Commercial Center complex and has drag shows on fridays and sundays. If you go online and sign up for text messaging, you can show it to the bartender and get $2 well drinks on saturdays. Hit the website to see the other specials and times. Cheers.

This is one of the most sparsely populated bars on the weekend and caters to an older crowd. It's almost depressive inside. Badlands is down the block inside the commercial center complex and the Las Vegas Lounge Tgurl bar is on the far side of the rear of the complex. You can visit all three in one vist and see for yourself.

Not my club, here's why ..

Rough crowd here with lots of unfriendly bumps and pushes. On a monday, I asked for the $10 all you can drink special. There was no alcohol in my drink. However, the manager assured me that there was indeed alcohol in my drink, but I JUST COULDN'T TASTE IT !!! You're also searched before you go in and will experience long lines on the weekends and summer. You know, they have the size and flair that is LAS VEGAS but not the customer service aspect done right. Try FreeZone next door if you want to get inside and drink quickly. Also some bumping from Hispanic guys, some who seen to work there on more than one occassion .. ?

Nice Place to Hang Out

Putting aside specials, Flex has the cheapest drinks and food. Drag shows spice up thursdays and saturdays. Sometimes a local organization called imperial royal sovereign court of the desert empire, inc. has shows as well and it's nice and packed. You drink free on your birthday too. Smaller but still nice inside.

Much Coffee and NO Internet really..

They promise you FREE WiFi INTERNET but it is seldom reliable. You do get all the coffee refills you want with standard cups. But there's nothing to do!!

Nice, My Favorite Here

This is a cozier club than Effex or Sidewinders. Drink pours are the best. However you must be a member to come in AND you need to buy tickets for drag shows on the busy nights IN ADVANCE or you will be stuck in the less fun and full back section.

This place features drag shows, at times, on Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays. Otherwise the crowd is somewhat sparse. Atmosphere lacks .. cold in the winter too. If you're Caucasian, you might want to avoid the male bartenders who seem to pour drinks with NO ALCOHOL in them at all. Try the girls bartenders instead. Cheers :)

Birdcage or Inmates who Pay to Be Here

Bouncers, some who seem quite "wound-up" quickly patrol from room to room here. Not all are "healthy". This makes a night less cozy. One tried to take my first drink of the night from my table while talking quietly to my GF. What gives? Oh, the INSIDE UPSTAIRS bar charges a HIGHER PRICE for the same drinks you get at the club's other bars. Cheers :)
