I first discovered this shop just before New Years. Boy was I excited spent nearly £200 that day. Lovely staff on shift very friendly and helpful most wonderful blonde haired girl very relatable and friendly give her a raise guys. Recently I had an issue with a product that tore along a seam and sought to return it only to be treated like trash by what can only be described as the most stereotypical gay guy you’ll meet , heavy set blonde hair, camp/ fem voice. He spoke down to me as if I was a child because he studied fashion and clearly I had damaged sed product. Even told me off about how I should put it on... not a newbie to the leather side of life mate. He took every joke I made and had a sarcastic and rude reply. When I asked if he wanted my full name written down he said “ what do you think” so I replied with well your not going to look me up online are you and laughed so he knew I was kidding this was met with a stone faced growl and a “ look mate your not my type so why would I even bother”. When I said the item was a late surprise for a friends, whose name I said to him, Christmas his answer was “and who is that, as if I’m meant to know”. This is only some examples, the conversation lasted longer and even had another staff member interject saying to him to give me a bit of paper to write my name down on so I could go. He never gave me a time frame I could expect a phone call in regarding a decision. I did get angry with him and had to hold back abit because I’m a hothead and I know it. To be spoken to like a child being scolded is Disgusting, he needs retrained on customer care... I actually felt verbally attacked. He couldn’t hold a human level of conversation if he tried Now the item in question has been deemed as a customer care issue by the manager despite a tear being made along a seam line upon first trying it on. Leather real or faux really shouldn’t tear that quick and paying £45 for something that was handed to you from a display rack and not exactly brand new as well. Dissapointing got to drive into town and pick up the item if that staff members there I won’t be buying anything. I would like to use the store more often but not if that’s the treatment I get. Not what I’d expect from a gay owned store in Glasgow to be made to feel like trash, I thought it would be more of a safe space. Won’t be back after I collect my item.... sorry guys. On a happier note seriously blonde girl with the beach waves style of hair amazing person, she’s a gem in that place.
