    Stay somewhere else

The pictures on the website for this hotel makes it look like the rooms are glamourous. They are not. They are out and out ugly. The pictures lie. Also, the elevators are like walking into a cave - very, very dark, and you have to wait forever for them to come and to get where you are going. Only 2 elevators. While a man might feel OK staying there, I certainly would not recommend a woman staying there, especially because of the dark elevators. Way overpriced for the quality. My room was not ready when I got there and I had to wait in the tiny lobby they have for quite some time before a room was ready, even though I got there about 4:30pm, after their official check-in time. There were a whole bunch of people waiting with me in the lobby for a room. That alone should indicate a problem. Though it is conveniently located, do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. I'm a 61 year old professional male and know the difference between good and bad. This is not good.

    Not recommended

I stayed there one night and then checked out and went to another hotel. The public areas of the hotel are quite nice, and the hotel is very conveniently located, but my room itself was very, very tiny and claustrophobic, and the bathroom was even tinier. Everything was "old and ugly" in the room. I'm a professional man and 61 years of age, and chose the hotel because I could walk to the Merchandise Mart from there. However, I would not stay there again, and with the good subway system, you can really stay most anywhere and hop on the subway to get where you want to go. Definitely overpriced and I would not recommend it.
