Kevin Rhodes, 59. I work as a celebrity personal assistant and love my life. Would be nice to meet a like-minded individual who had a body to die for and loved me completely, quirks and all. I am 100% authentic.
An Old Standard in West Hollywood
Many other great cafe restaurants have gone by the wayside, but French Quarter stands strong in the community. I always enjoy the chinese chicken salad. The portion is huge (always enough to take home for a later meal) and the dressing is just the right mix of sweet and sour. Add in the crunchy noodles and the sweet apricot on top and it's a dish to be loved. Combine it with their famous carrot cake muffin and you have a meal that can't be beat. The decor is that of a french bistro and the wait staff are usually quite attentive and pleasant. I love how they keep the ice tea glass full too.
I know it's not politically correct but...
I have been going to El Coyote for cheap margaritas and that delicious meatball soup for years. The decor is so trashy and fun and those outfits on the waitresses are just so funny, all poofy and multicolored. Last time I was there I saw Whoopi Goldberg so it's a fun haunt for celebrity hunters. While I am angry with them for the Prop8 stuff, I still enjoy going there. Just not as often anymore. That is also why they only got three stars!
West Hollywood Icon Bar!
I enjoy going to Mickey's. They have hot bartenders and great theme nights. I went during a recent Rupaul's Drag Race event and got to meet some of the contestants and then see the live show with Raven as the host. While the drinks are a bit pricy, it is a great place to hang out and watch the neighborhood boys!
Was that ice cream, ice milk, yogurt or soy?
I stopped in for a quick vanilla cone as we were strolling the boulevard on Saturday night. The shop is bright and fun with video screens of the celebs who have stopped by. When I ordered I was not sure what kind I got and no one bothered to explain the options for just a cone. Let's face it. I got it because it was only $2.00 but it would have been nice to know whether I got vanilla yogurt, ice cream or what since that is a big advert on their signage. I will try them again in the future for one of their signature celeb creations.
Fun place to grab a bite!
I stopped in for a quick nosh before heading to the theatre in Westwood. The young staff were friendly and one of the waiters had such a booty.....oh baby! Wait, I digress, this is a restaurant review. I had tasty happy hour margaritas and ordered the cheese fries. Delicious. The fries were meaty, hot and tasted like french fries should taste - Potatoes. The cheese sauce was on the side and ranch dressing was also available. It was reasonably priced too. Logan, was a waiter in training and he was friendly and cute following around the more seasoned waiter. The decor, music and flat screens were another nice diversion. Overall, a great experience which I will go to again.
