Best Chill Place

Boyfriend and I go to chill and relax. Good eye candy but look and don't touch. Also be sure to be quiet. We've talked a bit too much and staff told us to hush. Nice atmosphere.

Down n Dirty Bar

This is really a great place to just go when ur hungry and tired of Grindr. U actually see what ur getting. Great theme nights during the week. Go to the back patio where all the action is.

I can remember walking by this place as a kid. Great place to just chill and hang out. Known for its older crowd. Take the time to meet someone knew. You'll be better for it.

Gotta See It

Tis is theplace to go and be seen and is the best people watching area in South Beach. Hang out at one of the cafes and watch the world pass you by. Really a fun place with all types and crazies around..... Place does not really get started until after 10 pm since the Miami crowd is a late dining one... SCORE and some other bars are located on this main drive. Try to hit this area on the weekend.

Worth It

This is part of a big chain and you have all of the latest and most advanced equipment here. Lots of hot gays are working out here -- not like David Barton's place but very close. Good mix of gays guys will be working out here.... Nice locker room area. Worth the visit...

To Be Seen

This is a great gym to people watch. All of the celebrities come here and all the body beautiful and glams are here.... Hot hot hot gay scene with all the pretty boys here. Lots of good equipment and worth the daily rate.... Great place to get motivated to take your body to the next level!!!!

Iconic Hotel that's Worth It

Be prepared to spend a bit but theplace is worth every dime. This is Vegas meets Miami Beach. Lots of restaurants - Hakkasan and Scarpetta are my favorites. LIV is the nightclub that is the #1 revenue producing in the US - you will see why. All the celebrities hang out here. Be sure to have at least a drink in the iconic Bleu Bar this is the place to be seen and to people watch. If you are staying here be sure to ask for the Chateau Tower - the original tower with an ocean view balcony. The Tresor and Sorrento Towers are worth it if you have hte extra $$$ to spend - especially the Sorrento which is the newest tower. The pool scene is the best in Miami - hang out at a cabana and really feel like a King. Also, the outside restaurant is a great place to chill. Food is very good as well. This is a must see hotel in Miami....

Great Place

This is the place to hang out for Sunday Brunch. Great food items and the drag show is incredible. Be sure to get there early. There are two seatings - the first one seems to be the best for energy and a lively crowd. Fun place to go if you are visiting and a good place to see the Miami scene on Sundays.

FUn FUn Fun

SCORE is one of the hottest clubs in Miami. I am a local and luv coming here - especially with a group. Yu will find hte hottest guys here and the best place to dance. They have different themed nights and the weekend is packed. If you want the stereotypical gay Miami scene, then you have found it at SCORE>

Fun Times

I am a local from Ft L and always come down to the Twist. There is such a great mix of guys and it is the friendliest place in town. There are a couple of different bars to enjoy - i like the Tiki bar out back with the hot strippers and the dance bar upstairs. This is a must see in Miami.

Cool Gay Stuff

Great selection of cool and hip clothes, lots of swim suits and underwear of course.... They always seem to have sales so check the back of the place. Lots of porn and toys here as well.... Great place to find anything gay. I really like the quality of the place... very upscale and classy. The employees are also very nice and helpful.

I am a local and I luv to hang out at this beach, Packed on the weekends and a bit quiet during the week. Lots of all types here - younger and older, gd lking and not so, a true mix of what Ft Laud is all about... You will get a lot of the Miami crowd up here on the weekends as well... Much more friendly and real in Ft Laud I guess. It is a very comfortable beach.... Be sure to bring some food and booze - just keep it in a cooler and dont advertise it...

Luv This Place...

I am a local and this place is like a resort. It is so clean and a really inviting place. You feel like youve stepped in to a really nice quality gay resort in Ft Lauderdale. They have a very nice gym - not sure why - and a very large outside tropical paradise. Huge pool and hot tub. Lots of hte locals go for the Sun chicken buffet at 2 pm. The place gets packed - can you believe it a chicken buffet from the Colonels place every Sat... Only in Ft Lauderdale baby!!!! If you are looking to get off then this is the place to go....

Hmmmmmmmm.....

This place is always packed on the weekends, but the place is very seedy and run down. I think we deserve better. Club Ft Laud is a much nicer place and what I would expect. Why do we accept such a dump and keep a place like this in business? It gets a decent crowd but the place is poorly lit, smells, dirty, need I say more.... If I were to die and go to gay hell, then you found it at SLAMMERS!

Great Place

I am a local and have stayed here a few times. This place has great value. Really nice modern rooms and a lush outside tropical paradise. I recommend this place to all. Good sexual temperature as well. Luv the service - they really care...

Nice but Average

I am a local and this is a good average hotel. Rooms are like an upscale Travelodge and the grounds are nice. Medium sexual energy. Ive stayed here a few times and thought the entire experience was average. Service OK. They need to realize that there is a lot of competition and they can't fall asleep at the wheel!

Five Star Five Diamond

This place recently reopened with new owners and a complete overhaul. I LOVE THIS PLACE. It is classy and modern and tasteful and what you would expect from a high end gay resort. I have stayed here a few times and always had a great time. Mild to high sexual energy and a good crowd comes here. Ive ben to a couple of their tea dances as well.... Always fun and the place just looks sharp - clean lines and comtemporary chic. LUV IT!

Very Nice

Nice First Class Place

I am a local and always recommend this place for friends and family to stay. Beautiful hotel that is a step above your normal Marriott. Supposedly one of the Marriott brothers came down here for years with his family on Winter vacation so the place is ramped up for it - lots of details, beautiful outside space and pool areas. Ive been to the outside restaurant a bit and the food is great and service consistent. I strongly recommend this place... nice rooms, too.

Fun Place

I really luv this place. They have grown in the last couple of years. Ther drag performers are the servers and they really get it - fun, prompt, efficient. The food is also good too for a dinner theatre type place. I wish theyd renovate a bit - leftover hotel furniture and plastic tablecloths are much to be desired but it works.... Final bill is always sticker shock but I guess you expect it when you get a show and all. Always a fun time and the Sunday Gospel Brunch is always a hoot. The place though has changed to a bridal party , bachelorette central party zone so be ready for it. They play up to it and bring them up on stage and all.... Seems to be their primary weekend market now....

Hit or Miss

I am a local and have seen this place change hands more time than Liza changes husbands... It used to be really great around 4 yeras ago and then they went through some major staff changes that really affected the place. Now it has become a straight haven for those looking for a non threatening cool gay experience. Setting is cool - a converted old IHOP restaurant....Nice feel but they really miss it on food and service.,,,, Always off. and for what they charge they should be right on!

Its OK

I am a local and the place is ok. Just OK. Imagine the diner in Reno and you will see the CC. It needs a renovation and face lift. Too dates for me... It is a decent breakfast place but Id never have lunch or dinner here. Too many other good quality places in the area like Rosies.... Needs to see the bulldozer and then rethink the space.... The location is too valuable for such a dumpy place.

LUV THIS PLACE!

I am a local and only 47 and I LOVE THIS PLACE! It definitely has an older gay crowd - imagine Liberaces birthday party and then you get the feel for the Tropics. They have the best piano bar around singing all of the old show tunes and such. I take my Dad here whenever he is in town and he luvs it. Great food specials and the food is actually really good. Try the jambalaya and the prime rib - YUM! This place isnt for everyone but is is u want t a different fun time and come with an open mind.

Bring Your Wallet!

I am a local and liver near this place. It has been a consistently good time for many years. They have a weak restaurant outside - mainly fried junk.... There is a cover and on the weekend it can be high -- 20 -25. Mainly an older crowd comes here... The dancers are usually hot - mainly from the Latin countries.... Lap dances will run u about 40 but u go in to a cheesy back room that is gross. They need to rethink that space.... but still the dancers are usually hot especially on the weekends and you will have a fun time....

Great Sunday T Dance

I am a local and if you are around Sundays from 9- 12 am and luv the old Studio 54 music - this is the place to go.... Great location and the music on Sunday is the best. Gets a mixed but older crod on Sundays.... Used to have this dance at the Jackhammer before they closed.... Worth experiencing. Other nights they have karaoke and drink specials but Sunday was the only night I would go....

Fun Time for the Dark and Dirty Crowd

I am a local and this could be a fun place. It is mirrored after an Eagle syle bar. There are different themes nights and the weekends bring out the local crowds of leather, daddys, bears - get what I mean. I like to hang out in the back patio which can get a bit risque. Best time is to go after 12 am. It can get crowded and it is a sure place for a late night hook up.... Just be sure that you are in to this crowd - it's not the pretty twinks or college boys...

Disappointing

Ive lived in FLL for about 8 years now. The Alibi was the place to go. Really the only place to go. Now with the Village Pub opening across the street, it appears that the Alibi is struggling -- like it should. It rested on its laurels offering a typical bar experience and never renovated or invested in the space. They are known for their Thursday night Long Island Iced Teas in the mason jars - good deal and it is a must see. However, the last couple of years a certain "element" is invading the space looking for cheap booze and a quick buzz. The jury is out to see what happens now since the Village Pub and other more cool, hip and fun places are opening while the Alibi sits empty....

A Really Fun Time

Ive lived in Ft Laud for about 8 years and it took the opening of the Manor to get the gay zone to the next level. The Manor is a club you would see in LA or NY. It has multiple levels and the music is always a really good mix - they bring in the current DJs who are very interactive and guarantee you a fun time.... They also have a lounge area and the latin area is always full of hot Latin guys that come up from Miami... A lot of my friends from Miami come up on the weekends to hang out at the Manor. The place always changes its decor and has a real party scene. I definitely recommend it for a fun night out... A must see in Fll....
