I fully agree with Flltravel. It is laughable to call it elegant and sensual. Dirty, sleezy, poor taken care of , repulsive are better terms.

Very clean and well maintained. Room was big and well appointed with a contemporary decor but bargain was small without exhaust. Gardens pool and jaccussi are very nice. Breakfast is great. Staff is professional and attentive. Location is excellent if you want to be near beach and major hotels. Spa is in location as well as small fitness room. In summary great place for vacationing if you are not looking for sleazy.

Boring.

I was there twice between 7 and 9pm. A woman was the line bartender each time. Few people. Musical videos on. Only front area was open on both occasions and the few costumers were locals and friendly. Bar is plain but clean and in a good location.

Best view

Ugly bar and the staff was indifferent, but the view of the street and the beach more than compensate. Just see and enjoy the weather and view.

Nice but expensive

Clean, close to the gay bars and restaurant of Castro, great service and great breakfast. You also has the benefit of socializing with gays and lesbians from all over the world. Plus it is steps from the street car. But it is expensive and noisy.

Just Ok.

Not a particularly friendly crowd or service and no entertainment other than a drag show on Wednesday or some country dancing other nights and TV sets on. However, for some reason, may people there every night.

Great historic hotel

Opened in 1926, it showed its age with worn out furniture, facing noisy streets and with no heating or central conditioning. Bathrooms are small but rooms are huge, beds large, linen is fresh. Service is friendly. The location is unbeatable, close to Balboa Park and Hillcrest with numerous restaurants and clubs nearby. The highpoint has to be the free and very good breakfast daily from the roof with an incredible view of San Diego and the ocean. If you love old buildings and can stand some inconvenience, this is the place for you. I almost forgot, there is a social mixing on Friday evening very well attended by gay people.

Nice cupcakes

I don't like cupcakes in general but I tried these ones and they were tasty. The place has a good location and service was very friendly.

GOOD PLACE

Food is not the usual Mexican or Tex-Mex fare but is very tasty. Service is great, location is good with a small patio and the ambiance is nice. Prices are reasonable.

Great fusion Mexican and Chinese cuisine.

Fusion of Mexican and Chinese food. Better than it sounds. Small, expensive dishes but flavorful. The tacos are great particularly chicken with mole sauce. The fried rice with vegetables is also great and the flan is one of the best I have tested. Good service. Casual simple decor. Tea but no coffee. A different take worth visiting.

Best paella in town

The place on Paradise shows it age with an outdated cheap decor but it is close to the strip. The service though eager needs improvement. But the paella is the best in tow and very reasonably priced.

Great burges and shakes.

Located in the new and beautiful Cosmopolitan Casino on the Strip. Nice ambiance and good service. The shakes are some of the best I have ever tried as so are the burgers. Try the Gold Standard. Prices are reasonable for a casual restaurant on the Strip. Better than BLT at MIrage or the Burger Place at Mandalay.

Great Italian

Great bread and Italian food at reasonable prices for the Strip. The room is nicely appointed. You can also sit at the bar or even better outside the room with a great view of the inside of the casino a few steps away. Very good service in general and good coffee. Desserts are also good. Much better than other Italian restaurants on the Strip such as Wolfang Puck's eateries, with better portions and prices and service. Can be busy at night. Lunch is better option with basically the same menu. Again, bread is fantastic and pastas are fantastic..

Bad service but good bar food.

Located in the Aria Casino on the strip, it is busy and noisy. The service was bad to the point of having to wait more than 30 minutes for the waiter to come and pick the order. Burgers were so-so, nothing special though big. They hava a long selection of beers and other beverages and have good deserts and shakes. Prices are reasonable for the location on the Strip.

Not need to try. Poor value.

Expensive with small portions. Best thing I tasted was the pizzas. Service at the counter was good but not even bread served with the pastas despite price. Coffee was bad. The decor is unremarkable and the noise is high since it is an open restaurant. There are better Puck's restaurant in Las Vegas if you should taste his cuisine, though the prices are similar. .

Excellent and affordable food.

Lunch buffet is just a deal. Food is fresh, delicious and changes daily. There is plenty of vegetables and fruits for those on healthy diets. The place seems nondescript from outside located in the ugly Commercial Center but the inside is much bigger than it appeared from outside and very clean and organized. Good service. I may not like all the dishes offered but I have been impressed but the taste and freshness of the food. A must if you have a car and like Thai food..

Wonderful

Clean and safe, nice rooms and public areas, great location, close to bars and restaurants in West Hollywood. Check in and check out were professional and quick. Website is easy to navigate. Yes, parking is very expensive but it is the only problem in an otherwise very nice stay.

Not a good restaurant.

Ugly space and less than good service even though there were few people the afternoon I was there. Good view of the street and the Abbey across the street from the patio. The inside is claustrophobic. The chicken sandwich was the same you can have in any other eatery and the plantains were overcooked. Other than for the patio with view of Robinson and Santa Monica Blvd, I don't see the reason to go.

Good food but poor service.

Beautiful room, including the restrooms, in the new Aria Casino. Very busy and noisy the two times I have been there. The food is good but the service is poor. It seems too many people for so few waiters or poor training and supervision. Because the menu is mostly small tapas, the bill can rise very quickly if you want to eat a lot. Tapas are tasteful as are the desserts. Paella has been recommended to me but it takes 35 minutes to prepare and did not try. Nice experience but for the service.

Good and different burgers

The place is poorly designed and has ugly decor and it is located in a nondescript street mall, but the burgers are good and have a pan-pacific twist which make them different from what we usually taste. The regular fries and the sweet fries are great. Very affordable restaurant.Service is casual and friendly. Good selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.

There are much better Mexican restaurant in PS.

Usual Mexican food you can find in any second class Mexican restaurant chain in any city. Very poor service. Ugly decor, Worse value- food is too expensive for the quality and amount. The only positive is the location and I suspect that is the only reason they survive in the area. Again, skip it.

Best chinese food, ambience and service in Palm Springs.

Food is typical Chinese but well prepared and priced right. Service is attentive but not intrusive. There is a formal dining room, fairly nice, and also a bar and a patio if you just want to drink or socialize. Secure parking lot in the premise. Location in downtown Palm Springs is also very convenient. Great experience and value.

Don' t go.

Valet pariking is 5 dollars even if there is space in the parking lot and cover was 10. There was almost nobody the Friday night I went at 10 to 10:pm. You couldn't reenter if you left. I left anyway. What a waste!

Great place

Great dance place. All kinds of people mix together. Music is great. Energy and vibe are high indeed. Some very nice looking guys of all ages. Funny drag shows and special events complement the experience but the music and dancing are the main event here. They are contagious.

Nice clean place to unwind.

Great place for a quiet night. Bartenders are nice-looking and shirtless. The dancers are so-so-too skinny and young in my opinion.. Convenient location. Safe area. Clean place, including restrooms. Not a cruisy bar.

Upscale Chinese food.

As with all the restaurants in Wynn and Encore, the room is beautiful. The food is tasty and the service good. Prices are right for a restaurant of that category, moderate to expensive. Fried rice is particularly good as are the deserts. Better experience than Wasusu at neighboring Encore resort.

Not great service

I have eaten at the bar twice and food has been fine though in rather small amount for the price. The view of the swimming pool and the decor are fine. But service was not particularly good either time. The food is certainly better than you average fare in most Mexican restaurants.

Mexican food with a twist

The food is different version of your usual Mexican food. Food is interesting and flavorful. The chips and the salsas were wonderful. The small plates are the best. Service was less than good at the bar where I have eaten twice and that is my only negative point against this restaurant. Room decor is modern and just OK though view of the swimming pool from the main dining room is nice. Coffee was good. Food in rather expensive. To reach the restaurant you have to walk large distance from the parking lot of Mandalay and ever larger distance from the street. In summary, a nice, different version of Mexican food.

Not good.

Poor food, service so-so, bad coffee and beautiful environment. Chinatown in Las Vegas had better food and much lower prices. The Cantonese chicken fried rice was dry and tasteless. The service was slow and indifferent even though there were not many people in the place. But the bad coffee left a bitter taste in my mouth for hours.

Palm Canyon Drive, accross from Azul

Great food. Small place but prices are right, service good and location across from Azul on the main street of Palm Springs is great. It even has a patio that look on the street. Coffee and deserts were also tasteful.

better places exist

I was there in March 2010 and during that weekend it was practically empty. I was given a noisy room next to pipe. Breakfast was lacking and practically no service or hosts were seen during my three night stay.Rooms are big but the bathrooms are ugly and in need of modernization. Very disappointing.

Nice affordable restaurant.

Nice affordable place in downtown PS. Food is OK. Service friendly. Good patio area, opening on the street with good view of people walking around and close to other businesses and attractions. Has parking.
