Video bar with a touch of class

An up-scale club with reasonable prices. Lots of video screens. Friendly mixed crowd. Brand spankin' new and very clean. Smoking patio in the back.

    A Little Bit Of Everything

This is a pretty big club, considering its location. The front is a video lounge, playing a lot of retro videos when I was there. The middle has a couple pool tables. The back is a big dance. There also a large patio witha tiki bar, popular with smokers. The crowd is very mixed, but pretty friendly.

Sophisticated bar with a nice restaurant

This may be the nicest club in Boston if you're looking for a little elegance and trendy Martini aesthetic.

Neighbor bar with a taste of leather

Yes, it's true this bar desparately needs a make-over, but despite the decor and pricey drinks, it's still a lot of fun. It has become THE place to go on weekends if you are looking for a little action in a darkened room. Hunky bartenders (Douglas is awesome) and the new play space in the basement encourage the leather and playful crowd.

    Best time in SF

this place was great! Friendly bartenders and partons. Fun music and cheap, strong drinks! The underwear party on Mondays is awesome. Who knew you could have so much fun on a Monday night?

    Leather Party on the Patio

Had a great time with a raucous crowd on the patio. People were real friendly and frisky. Just wish they had an extra bartender to handle the crowds. Burgers and dogs grilling on the BBQ.

    The only place in KC

There's a small workout area, but it doesn't get much use. The guys are there for the fun. Compared to more established clubs in larger cities, this place doesn't quite stack up; it's smaller and not as well-equipped or maintained. But does that really matter, it's the only game in town. You need a membership to get in, so you must call ahead and set it up first.

    A Little Sketchy

This is a hole in the wall neighborhood bar. The place really needs a renovation. The people are friendly, but the whole places seems a little odd. Poke your head in an look around, then run over to Side Kicks, the bar right next door.

    Wild and Crazy Boys

This place is awesome. A great sexy crowd, a really fun space, and lots of fun to be had. The basement was full of boys running around in their designer underwear the night I went. There are dark corners where you can find whatever you are looking for (and I did).

    A long strange trip

Well, this is not a piano bar now, but I'm not sure what it has become. There were drag queens and gogo boys, and a pretty diverse crowd of 30-somethings. It's a small place, and it looks great, but it has a very strange vibe about it. The place is searching for an identity, as are many of its patrons.

The Grande Dame of the KC Club Scene

Probably the most popular club in town, it offers a little bit of everything for everyone. There are drag shows, karoke, two dance floors, leather nights, and beer busts. A very mixed crowd -- young/old, boy/girl, gay/straight -- means there's always something interesting doing on.

Best Gay Restaurant in KC; avoid on weekends.

A great atmosphere (though a little loud sometimes) with candles and often live music, wonderful wine and cocktail menu, delicous hearty entrees. The macaroni and cheese is famous. On the down side, the service is horrible on week-ends. They just can't manage the crowds. I waited an hour for my table, and I had a reservation. People get so drunk and loud waiting to be seated that dinner becomes a shouting match.

    Fine and Dandy

Put on your best shoes and trendiest hair style and step into the fanciest gay club in KC. Whether you're just there for the people watching, the gorgeous bartenders, or the delicious cocktails, you're in for a treat. A little pricier than other bars, but it's worth it for the elegant atmosphere and clientele.

Great Home-style Cooking and Beer Selection

This is a great pub to eat out before hitting the clubs. There is a huge selection of beers. The food is down home with choices like burgers, mac & cheese, and my favorite fish & chips with hush puppies.

    Great Leather Bar

Friendly place, great drinks. Porn movies for viewing, disco area for dancing, and a dark room for playing. What else can you ask for?

    Fun and friendly

Had a great time here, but the atmosphere is little bright. It's a large open space, so it's hard to feel cozy, unless you're off in one of the corners. People were very friendly. A pool table dominates the space. Great bartenders.

    A Great French Bistro

A true bistro in every sense -- a warm atmosphere, but not too fancy. A large and varied menu from foie gras to creme brulee. The menu is written in French on a chalkboard, so you must ask the waiter what everything is. But the food is great and the service pleasant.

    Pizza and martinis

This is truly a gay-friendly restaurant. It has a wonderful selection of martinis and a great menu of lower priced entrees. You can eat in the very popular and noisy bar area, or at a more private table in the dining room. The Sunday brunch is popular, but don't expect anything more than your standard breakfast menu, adequately prepared. It's a great place to drink and eat without spending too much money, though after a few martinis, you may do that anyway.

    Great lunch date

The cafe serves a delicous variety of food from soups and salads to sandwiches and pizzas. Situated in the middle of an art museum, there is a lot to look at, but it can be quite loud in the boomy artium where the food is eaten. A great place for lunch date. Dinner is only served on Friday and Saturday, but there are better choices if you are looking for a more inviting outing.

Friendly Bar for Friends of Dorothy

Very casual bar with a great view from the outdoor patio. Home-cooked meals served Friday nights.
