PHOTOS: Fred and Jason’s Halloweenie fondles LA’s disco balls

This weekend in Los Angeles, homo hippies and disco divas rose from their graves and hustled downtown to the Belasco Theater for Fred and Jason’s Halloweenie 16. Described as the “party with a purpose,” this fundraiser for Project Angel Food featured the retro-centric theme “Peace, Love, and Disco Balls.” For those who missed it, we’ve conjured up a collection of the best lewks this disco-macabre had to offer.

Peace, Love, and Disco Balls

In honor of this year’s Halloweenie theme, the gays of LA busted out their fiercest fringed vests, bellbottoms, and feathered wigs to serve a variety of vintage ensembles.

Macho, Macho (Super)Men

While many attendees donned thematic platform boots and tie-dye threads, others opted for the latex and capes of their favorite super-queeroes.

Creatures of the Night

Some revelers indulged in their dark sides by donning black leather and demon horns. They literally redefined their “horniness.”

Group Play

Much like orgies, when it comes to group costumes it’s more the merrier. This year, some squads rolled in flaunting thematic threesomes and on-fleek foursomes.

Blasts from the Past

The retro theme wasn’t solely restricted to the hippie and disco eras. Some chose to invoke personas from further in the past, from Kennedy’s Camelot, to ancient Rome, and the Garden of Eden.
