PHOTOS: Queer cosplayers take the spotlight at WonderCon

Grab your face paint and slap on some spandex, because WonderCon is here and very queer. Headquartered at the Anaheim Convention Center, this weekend-long celebration of geek culture featured comic book writers, graphic artists, and hordes of costume players. For those who missed out, we snapped you some shots of the cosplay looks that won the day.

Nerd of Steel

The superhero genre was kickstarted in 1938 with the first appearance of Superman in Action Comics #1. Andy Lobo (@captaindandyandy) serves a classic Last Son of Krypton look while posing over the Convention Center entrance.

That’s So Raven

And speaking of twists, Dylan Carter puts a gender-bending spin on Raven, Teen Titan‘s resident goth girl.

Vampire Kween

Dylan wasn’t the only cosplayer dishing out demoness vibes. This fierce femme served us some Marceline, the bisexual Vampire Queen from Adventure Time.

Moon Prism Power

What 90’s gayby didn’t have a Sailor Moon poster hanging on their bedroom wall? And let’s be honest, it was totally purchased at Hot Topic.

UP NEXT: Batman, Star Wars, Transformers, and more
