Weekend fun

The former manager of Cocktails, James, is now running the bar here on weekends. Lots of fun; hot bar back too. Parking is limited, but the neighborhood isn't as seedy as some other places either. I'm going back next weekend for sure.

Horrible Hell Hole

This place is about finished. It has turned into a ghetto hell hole and is a fright to visit after dark. We only stop on Sunday afternoons now, just to visit.

Not bad for a Monday

We were in KC for a short visit and stopped by MIssie B's to check out at least one of KC's bars. It was moderately busy and had a drag show on an adjoining floor and stage. Friendly to strangers, which is more than can be said for a lot of local bars in the midwest.

Don't judge a bar by its sidewalk

This is a fun place to go and has a great karaoke night on Wednesdays. Never had trouble outside, coming or going.

Needs an IV

This place was fun years ago, but it has failed to draw a younger, active crowd. Seems to be monitored and over-controlled by its management. "Sit there and buy drinks or get out."
