Got to disagree with bFlay24... I've never encountered a foul odors in the steam room, unless you count the strong disinfectant odor that can persist after a cleaning. Same for the whirlpool, which I find consistently clean if inconsistently hot. There are quirks, the steam room door does not close by itself, so sometimes there are billows of steam escaping, but it is otherwise consistently hot. The whirlpool and sauna have timers that shut them off, and the sauna takes time to heat up if its been off for a while.That said, I agree with the later part of the review, the staff do a good job of keeping the place clean and maintained. It is a small club, and is often not very busy, which I don't get for a city the size of Pittsburgh... it should be busy all the time!

Pittsburgh's only leather bar, in the basement of Donnie's Place, which is now a men's bar. No enforced dress code, but you should try to butch it up if you don't want the regulars to make fun of you. Skip the cologne but bring the right attitude, you'll have fun. If you're not having fun, there's two other bars right upstairs, try your luck there.

These days men predominate at Donnie's Place, which may account for the complaints of filth and sleaze in the reviews from women. Standard bar on the main floor, dance floor / maze upstairs, leather bar downstairs. Lots of dark nooks to hang out and get to know your fellows.
