The public is invited to the opening reception scheduled for Sunday, March 9 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at Lyndon House Arts Center.
This annual professionally oriented competition was judged by Gilbert Vicario, Senior Curator at the Des Moines Art Center, Iowa. He was previously at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. He selected 128 art works for exhibition from the 478 works submitted to the competition by 182 artists. He also chose 7 Awards and 6 Honorable Mentions which will be announced at the opening reception.
The 39th Juried Exhibition will be on view from March 9 through May 3 during regular gallery hours: Tuesday & Thursday from noon until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday, Friday, Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
