Ready for a raw summer? This Provincetown party is the place for you

How Raw will you get this summer?  Trojan™ Brand knew that summer 2022 would be a doozy in the sexiest possible way and wanted to make sure the brand was not just joining but contributing to the fun while also introducing guys to its new product, BareSkin™ Raw™, America’s thinnest latex condom.  Given that, it was an easy decision for Trojan to showcase BareSkin™ Raw™ in Provincetown, MA, one of the world’s leading LGBTQ vacation destinations, and support its first in-person Pride weekend since 2019 with a presenting sponsorship of the celebration in association with the nonprofit Provincetown Business Guild.

Although few brands show up in Provincetown (or Ptown as it’s affectionately known) in the first place, Trojan knew that something out of the box was in order – or, in this particular case, IN the box!  To create something truly special, the brand collaborated with rising queer artist Gunnar Montana, a Philadelphia-based choreographer and performance artist.  Infusing movement and visual arts, Gunnar’s work refuses to be defined; his artistry as a whole is an array of visual art installations, prop-based choreography, set design, costume design, transformation of atmosphere, and innovative movement, concepts, and ideas.  Using his unique aesthetic, Gunnar created the SuperGay Trojan Boy Toy, the latest in his series of life-size doll boxes that have become an Instagram sensation due to their vibrancy, cleverness, and unabashed queerness.  Visitors could actually step inside and recreate the kind of photo ops that have been burning up Gunnar’s Instagram since he debuted the original in 2021.

The box was installed at one of Ptown’s most revered institutions, Crown & Anchor, the gorgeous waterfront hotel, restaurant, and entertainment complex dedicated to honoring the town’s traditions, supporting the community, celebrating queer arts, and elevating the LGBTQ+ tourism experience.  The Crown was the perfect location because not only are all welcome — all are celebrated, especially under the visionary leadership of new owners Jonathan Hawkins and Paolo Martini.  The SuperGay Trojan Boy Toy was set up in the heart of the Crown’s courtyard along with plenty of giveaways like t-shirts and light-up bracelets in rainbow colors (perfect for the club after dark) hand-held signs celebrating Ptown Pride and props for the Boy Toy photo ops. And of course, plenty of BareSkin™ Raw™ samples.

The reaction was electric and the town was abuzz – who wouldn’t want a photo as a SuperGay Trojan Boy Toy?!  Everyone from locals to day-trippers to vacationers to the town’s best-known performers stopped by for a pic, samples, and a kiki they wouldn’t soon forget.  If you missed the opportunity the first time, don’t worry – Trojan will be BACK in Ptown from July 7-9  to kick off Bear Week, only at the Crown & Anchor. Year-round, you can find more of Trojan’s queer influencer partner content by following #TrojanSponsor on Instagram.
