VOTE: Stoli Guy Dallas Winner Davidré Dead Drops To The Top

Davidré, the Stoli Guy Dallas winner, danced his way into the hearts of Dallas party-goers at the Round-Up Saloon during the GayCities-produced star search. His tumbling and dead dropping even had the talented guest co-host Alyssa Edwards gagging for more.

Now Davidré is getting ready to travel to New York City for the national finale. Will he be the one to claim the $10,000 prize?

Can you give us a little teaser of what your original talent showcase will be at the finale on September 18?

My original talent will be me doing a choreography routine to a mix track. I don’t want to reveal too much just yet, but I can say New York better be ready for me.

Screen Shot 2014-09-06 at 12.39.24 PMHow did your friends and family react when you won Stoli Guy 2014 in your hometown?

Everyone was excited for me that I won, just congratulating me and telling me to keep up the good work when I go represent Dallas at the finale.

Being an LGBT ambassador for Stoli is an exciting job. Why do you think you’d be the best at it?

Best just at being myself, people respect you more when you are honest and genuine and actually care about something.

Why do you think being “authentic” is important in the LGBT community?

Being authentic is about being yourself, and owning who you are and not allowing others to decide life choices. Because at the end of the day, only you answer for how you live your life.

Screen Shot 2014-09-06 at 12.39.06 PMWhat inspired you to participate in Stoli Guy 2014?

This is the first competition I’ve ever done. The fact that they were looking for the right mix of talent and personality really inspired me to be a part.

Favorite Stoli Guy Cocktail: Boy Next Door (Stoli Blueberi + Lemonade) for sure!
