Drag photo pioneer Magnus Hastings‘ Why Drag? exhibit captures the world’s most celebrated drag superstars at New York City‘s Out Hotel. Hastings considers himself a “child of drag,” because he loved to raid his mother’s closet to play with accessories and hair pieces, especially her white ostrich feather fan.
The collection of photographs features infamous drag queens like Bianca Del Rio, Jiggly Caliente, Courtney Act, Sharon Needles, Lady Bunny and Jackie Beat. The exhibition runs through the end of August in New York City.
