PHOTOS: Absolut Open Canvas Redefines Vodka Bottles And Party Cool

On Saturday night, 6′ tall Absolut Vodka bottles bearing mind-blowing art were featured at the Open Canvas closing party in NOPA.

As the climactic end to San Francisco‘s version of the Open Canvas campaign, GayCities hosted an evening of art, pictures, music and Absolut cocktails in the loft of  recently opened La Urbana. Art was created inside but also trailed out to overtake an entire city block with 15 installments by locals in a mosaic of bohemian cool.

The piece displayed at the closing party (pictured) was created by Marconi Calindas and titled “To Russia, with Love,” subtly adorned with details that depict the current Russian antigay politics.

Featured below are some frames the party-goesers took at the SnapYourself booth.
