On May 8, New York’s Pier 60 hosted singer and Celebrity Apprentice contestant Clay Aiken and Tony nominee Montego Glover (Memphis, the Color Purple) at Night at the Pier, a fundraising gala honoring the Family Equality Council, which is now celebrating its 30th anniversary.
Also there to enjoy Broadway-style performances were stage and screen David Hyde Pierce, comedian Judy Gold, super-producer Daryl Roth and Freedom to Marry’s Scott Davenport—the latter two of whom received awards for their tireless efforts on behalf of LGBT parents and their children.
