This place is an upscale, cleaner, more pricey version of Meio Mundo. A nightclub type bar and a coffee-shop light-meal type area complement the usual wet areas. There are many Rent Boys and most are gym muscular types. Both places (Meio Mundo and 117) are set up to cater to rent boys and their clientele. Many older (60++) clients but some of the clients here are actually hot themselves, some are young, and clients can get together and rent a room (Reais 25 x 40 min) if they want. Amongst the very best selection of boys in Rio bathhouses, particularly if you like muscled types, they charge from Reais 70-100 (separate from the club's own charges - entry, room, booze, etc.). The hook-up rooms have bathrooms inside, unlike Meio Mundo, which is a big plus in my book. Charges for condoms and lube, so consider bringing your own. The neighborhood is safe and catching a taxi back to wherever is easy.

This place is in full swing currently. A less expensive version of Club 117, it has plenty of rent boys - some are average looking, many are good looking, and a few are really good looking. The boys charge Reais 70-100 for 30 minutes. Good friendly security outside, not a creepy neighborhood and it is very easy to cab it there and to take a taxi back from there - it is a block away from the Candelaria church, a huge Basilica in Centro. When I went there was a very elaborate show with many acts and about 15 performers in various costumes including some huge muscular guys in speedos - quite entertaining.
