Great Bar and bartenders

Nice enough and lives up to the expecations. However, be warned that the crowd is very clickish and sometimes down right rude. I have lived in NYC and have never been treated they way some of the queens act here. Bartenders are great and some are even cute ;-) it is the place to go while you're in Chicago. My fellow minorities, remember, you are still in the mid west and still a minority. Esp here!!! Great decor and always great music. Staff is always wonderful...

The George has a pub and a dance bar that are in the same building. Great music, great looking men and someplace to dance the night away. Great place to start and finish..

It's not a large bar, but what it has over the bars in boystown is you can actually have a conversation there. Drinks are great and same price as boystown. It can only fit about 35 people there, but so what. The crowd is very diverse and friendly. I found it to be very fun and fresh. Not going to win any awards for decor though... LOL

It's a great place to go if you don't want to make the 25 min drive to boystown.. However there are a lot of straight women there with boyfriends in tow. Not a big problem unless you like hearing a woman scream all night. ears are still ringing.....

I booked this B&B without there being any reviews. I fell in LOVE. Not only was the location perfect but the HOST made it even better. If you're looking for a 5 star hotel then this is not for you, but if you like feeling like you're at home with a wonderful host, then stay here. I had the most wonderful stay here. Make sure that you get your own bathroom though. I don't share bathrooms with strangers and that was a great addition for a small B&B. Ask for the room on the main floor. You have the backyard patio which is right next to The Mix but there is no noise. Again, I had a wonderful time and you can walk to all the bars in the castro and the trolly and subway is only 2 blocks away. GREAT LITTLE GEM.
