White Porch Inn Hotel in Provincetown
Posted: June 26, 2009 - Visited: June 2009
Just go here and experience one of the most wonderful Bed and Breakfast places. Thomas greeted us each morning with offerings of hot breakfast made on the spot. He is warm, friendly and knowledgabe of all Ptown has to offer. There is no other place I would rather stay than at The White Porch Inn.

I recently had an amazing experience here. The food was great, the host Roco was awesome and our waiter Bob couldn't have been friendlier (get your mind out of the gutter).

Saul's is Open Every Day 8:00am to 10:00pm. I love the Potato Pancakes. They remind me of east coast deli's.

I love Berkeley Bowl, especially the produce section. They have a wide variety (about 10 different kinds of apples). The butcher is a bit expensive but excellent. Parking can be a bitch.
The Commons Hotel in Provincetown

This place has no charm. When we checked in we had to hunt someone down to give us a key. When we arrived there was a huge stain on the bed spread. Yes it was soaked through. The cleaning people said it could not come out in the wash. They were wonderful when they were around. This place is only good if you have to bring your dog (they allow dogs). But beware the hall will smell like damp dog on cold days. They did not remodel. They painted and hung new pictures. The host in the front restaurant has attitude. Rumor has it they lost their executive chef and are suffering since.
