Enjoyable Lunch

Ordered a salad and a pepperoni pizza. Both exceeded our expectations. Loved the salad dressing and the thin crust pizza was perfect. Our server, Loira also delivered our check with complimentary anise rum shooters that finished a great lunch.

Highly Disappointed

Our server went out of his way to be helpful...but the kitchen really missed the mark. Ordered Red Snapper and Shrimp Mofongo. Snapper was so dry...but we picked at it. This probably was the first time I have ever thought my shrimp mofongo had been prepared much earlier in the day and was reheated to serve. In a word..it was bleak. I couldn't believe a highly rated restaurant would serve such a poor meal.

Good Breakfast

Read the reviews here on Tripadvisor and Pelayo's looked very promising. We were immediately seated during what appeared to be the busy "businessman's" breakfast. Everyone in the restaurant appeared to be on their way to work....lots of business being discussed. Our waiter, while helping us appeared to be a little distracted and uninterested. Other than that...we had a great meal including a plate I had never had....Scrambled Eggs with French Fries. It was really good. Also we enjoyed Scrambled Eggs with Sausage and Country Fried Potatoes. Good meal.
