just your typical gay club, which is good enough for me

let's be honest, Axis is a typical gay dance club. it's nothing special compared to gay clubs in other cities. just average. with that said, if you're a gay guy who's under 21, you have zero other choices on the weekend in Columbus, which is why i go there every weekend. if we had other gay clubs that let minors in, i'd switch it up sometimes (the only other option is Wall Street, but that's just on Wednesdays). the music is pretty good, the staff is nice, the $5 cover is ok, parking sucks, the bathrooms can be gross sometimes, the guys range from average to hot and 18 to about 40, everyone is drunk, way too many people are on crack (you can buy it in the club if you know who to ask), and the location is perfect. they mark you with Xs and give you wristbands if you're under 21, and keep your ID until you leave, so it's hard to drink underage. however, they accept fake IDs and a lot of people show up drunk. there are drag shows sometimes, which i personally think are a waste of time.
