    Worth the climb
    It's a bit of a climb from the Malecon, but this lovely inn is worth it. The mix of rooms, some with killer views, surround a quiet courtyard. It's a quieter neighborhood than los muertos, but still within easy walking distance from anywhere you'd want to go. And there's an amazing hole-in-the-wall seafood restaurant down the block that could be the best in Vallarta.

    I've stayed in a number of Palm Springs resorts over the last 25 years and Warm Sands Villas is my favorite. Beautiful view, well-maintained premises, reasonable prices, friendly guests, great location and a delightful staff-- what's not to love?
