Not impressed

Visiting from England. Went to another gay bar last night no problems encountered..... However, tonight, travelled a long way to visit this place only to find out we needed identification ... I had driving licence but my friend who happens to be disabled, didn't have identification.... Now we have laws in England about serving alcohol to minors, but I am in my mid forties, and look it ..... My friend is 53, and looks it .... In fact people think she is my mother!!!! This is where discretion is useful ....... We were NOT asked to produce identification last night, and feel that Just a small note on the site, that this venue insists on proof of age, it would have prevented our night being spoiled ....... So overall, feel rather disgruntled .....
