This remake of the former Alexander keeps the great location--unlike most others, the courtyard faces the mountains & the sun--but adds stylish mid-century touches to a perfect Palm Springs 9-room motel. The crowd over President's Day weekend was uniformly friendly, nice, and "real"--not many party boys, just nice guys in their 30s and 40s. And I've never had hosts bring me bottles of water at poolside before, several times a day! Summary: Nicer than I'd hoped for. I'd absolutely go back.
