Oldest gay bar in Indy

The Varsity can be fun, but the neighborhood can also be scary. The menu is basically bar food and it's pretty good. Keep an eye on your back going to and from your car.

If Out Word Bound doesn't have it you probably don't need it. Books, cards, magazines, stickers, music and videos and more.

The coffees and teas are good, home made desserts are delicious! The new brunch on weekends is very tasty with several items to choose from. Right next door to Out Word Bound bookstore and there is patio seating outside so you can sip your coffee and watch the boys go by.
Can be a good time.

How much fun you have here depends on when you go. The clientèle tends to be older which is OK for me.

Ivy's has been a favorite of mine for years. The bartenders and servers are friendly, so are the owners, John & Chuck. Food is good enough to keep me coming back. Drinks are strong, if you like "gay shots" Ivy's is your place.

It can get smoky there, the other reviewer was right about that. If you want to hang out with only men, this isn't your place. The ladies go there too and they can get really loud. Food is OK, best burger for the buck in town. Servers/bartenders change pretty much daily.

The bartenders are friendly, the other guys who hang out there are too and the Jello shots are only a buck. It doesn't get any better!
