Hey Sandra, we hear you’re heading down to Atlantic City for the “Queens of Comedy” show with Margaret Cho at this year’s Out in AC Halloween Weekend event. What’s the show going to be like?
A crazy patch work quilt of pop culture, personal reflections, tiny revelations and sexy lounging.

Dreamy. Will you be in costume?
I am always in costume.

What do you think the most popular Halloween costumes will be this year?
Christine O’Donnell

Have you spent much time in AC?
I’ve always been a West Coast Vegas kind of girl.

We hear JWoww is going to host a party at Dusk nightclub at Caesars after your show. Are you a Jersey Shore fan?
I am very selective about reality TV. That hasn’t made the cut. No offense to Snooki.

Do you plan on spending the whole weekend in AC?
No, I have a kid so when I’m done working I always go straight home.

You know, I moved to New York in ’98 and caught I’m Still Here…Damn It! I have been coming to your shows ever since. When did you start performing?
I started performing when you were learning how to walk.

You have a killer singing voice. Who inspired you early on?
Many, from Streisand to Mick jagger. Joni mitchell, Aretha, Tina, Stevie, Heart, Laura Nyro, Nina Simone, Dusty Springfield, Ella, Dinah, Judy, Liza, Janis Joplin–that’s a Whitman’s sampler.

Best thing about being on the road?
Hotel rooms and meeting new people, great food– someone to kind of do it all for you.

Worst?
Rushing around, nerves, lonely hours, airports.

Will you play Joe’s Pub again on New Year’s Eve?
Yes, I will be back at Joes this year; two shows a night from Dec 29-Jan 1

We can’t wait. Where can we find you on the web?
My website, Facebook, but the best place to connect is on Twitter–it’s me 100%.
