Twinks rule in these 10 cities around the world

Twinks are known for their impeccable packaging and smooth golden finish.

If you’re looking for a sugary snack that may not last forever but will give you a rush, look no further. We’ve got you covered with this list of ten international destinations where the forever young rule.

1. Paris

The city of amour is exploding with youthful energy. Le Marais, the city’s LGBTQ+ center is cruisy and gritty all at once, and with dozens of bars, you’ll be able to find whatever kink–or twink– you’re looking for.

2. Montreal

Montreal is the birthplace of Celine Dion. But it’s probably best known for the naked youth gyrating in the back of dance clubs like Campus and Stock Bar. Montreal features a rowdy community of guys who frequent Le Village, where rainbow-festooned bars, restaurants, and cafes line the streets. The annual Black and Blue Festival – the world’s largest gay fundraiser – also draws tens of thousands of guys from around the world each year.

3. Stockholm

Stockholm‘s annual late-summer gay pride festival counts more than 50,000 participants and 500,000 spectators. You’re sure to spot that quintessential Swedish blond look dominating the throngs.

Unlike most large cities, Stockholm doesn’t have a specific gay ‘hood, but it boasts a relaxed, friendly vibe, with LGBTQ-friendly cafes, restaurants, and clubs scattered. Many shops and boutiques catering to gay fashionistas are also in town.

    4. Amsterdam

Amsterdam is one of the most liberated cities in the world, featuring five distinct gayborhoods, NDSM, Jordaan, the Pijp, Reguliersdwarsstraat, and Centrum. There’s a healthy smattering of leather and fetish bars throughout Amsterdam (we wouldn’t call the city liberated if there weren’t) but twinky destinations remain all the rage.

Your search for specimens will likely lead you to Prik, a watering hole with a lounge feel. And if it’s the weekend, Trut is a solid option as well as Boysclub 21 for all those wanting true European exposure.

    5. Zurich

Zurich boasts an edgy scene – most clubs don’t open until 10 pm or after, but the music bumps (and encourages grinding) well into the wee hours of the morning. Your adventures will probably take you to Cranberry Bar, a popular hangout that boasts an excellent cocktail menu.

The city is highly walkable and bikeable, boasting one of the most impressive public transportation systems in the world. Regardless, your buns will be round and firm by the end of your trip here.

    6. Valencia, Spain

While Valencia’s clout may still be on the rise, sun-kissed twinks are already sashaying up and down the Playa de l’Arbre del Gos. There, the clothing-optional dress code is strictly enforced.

When in the city, the local boys can be found in the barrio del Carmen, the predominantly gay neighborhood in the center of the city. For a chill time post-beach, Café de la Seu offers coffee, drinks, and people-watching.

    7. Curaçao, Dutch Caribbean

Steamy Curacao is a little Caribbean island with a drag queen-sized personality. “Live and let live!” is the locals’ mantra, and rightly so. The island hosts its very own late-summer pride festival, South Caribbean Pride, as well as a number of beach-themed circuit parties.

    8. London

With more than 8 million residents, London has a little something for everyone. Because there’s no central gay neighborhood here per se, twinky revelers are typically drawn to the Soho and Vauxhall neighborhoods.

While here, you’ll likely find yourself at G-A-Y, one of the most popular dance and cruise clubs in Europe. In fact, there’s so much gay going on in London, you should use our London city guide to figure out where to go next.

    9. Sydney

No list of twink-infested destinations is complete without Sydney, a sizzling hotspot with miles of golden beaches. A visit to the famed Bondi Beach is a must-do.

Venturing away from the beach, social life is centered near Oxford Street in the Darlinghurst neighborhood in the eastern suburbs. Plus, that’s where you’ll find the best places to ogle locals: Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and annual Pride Festivals are some of the biggest in the world.

    10. Cape Town, South Africa

With three beaches, all San Diego-style chill and clothing optional, it’s no wonder Cape Town is a gay haven. Plus, with annual events like Pride Week, the Red Party, and Mr. Gay Cape Town, there’s never a shortage of revelry – and everyone’s invited.

Just watch that beach body, the restaurants are so tempting you may not be able to stop.
