On Saturday, June 23, UK pop singer Natasha Bedingfield headlined the New York Pride edition of Matinee, the international party franchise that’s tore up Las Vegas, Miami, Ibiza and other global hotspots.  The weather was scorching out on Governors Island, where more than 3,000 shirtless fans grooved to the “Unwritten” singer’s set and ogled her barely clad dancers, but between the tented dance floor and giant waterslides and mistings, things stayed relatively cool. Props to Jake Resnicow and Patrick Crough for pulling off a great event—and props to Miss Bedingfield for keeping that updo tight even with the withering weather.
