PHOTOS: LGBT Families Say “Cheese” in Times Square

On May 6, gay clans gathered worldwide for the first International Family Equality Day and Queerty joined the Family Equality Council in Times Square for a LGBT family photo on the big red TKTS steps.  Similar events were held in England, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Albuquerque, Geneva, Helsinki, Toronto and other cities with the goal of celebrating same-sex families and encourage efforts to ensure equality.

Kelli O’Donnell of R Family Vacations teamed up with Ella Robinson, co-chair of Outspoken Generation, Jennifer Chrisler, executive director of the Family Equality Council, and George Fesser, director of LGBT Community Center Families, for a day full of activities, including a tea dance at the Center.
