Chris VonTanner, 71. I'm 63 years old, in a relationship for 25 years, I have been an openly gay singer/songwriter/performer since the early 1970s. I have recorded 11 album/cds, the first was part of the "Walls to Roses: song of changing men" in 1978. We recorded it on Folkways Records which is now a permanent part of The Smithsonian. I am both a peace activist and an AIDS activist. Gay rights are a given, but I do have to waste both, some of my money and my time, showing others that I am just as American as any 'het' and that we all have the right to believe whatever we want, but no laws, discriminator or not will be based on what the bible says. Separation of church and state is at the top of my political agenda. I love all of you and I say this not out of jest, but to show you a different and a vital way of living. This love has brought me to be a live in caregiver for the past 15 years . Sometimes even I am amazed at how cool I am. LOL...lol...tears streaming down my face. I paint, I sculpt and I sing! with love & retrospect, Chris VonTanner
