Smoking behind the bar

My partner and I came here in mid-July on a very quiet night. We were enjoying our second drink when the barman/manager/owner started to smoke behind the bar. This, despite there being a smoking room in the bar. Three guys next to us got up and walked out. We did the same, and as we left I told the smoker why we were leaving. His response - a shrug of the shoulders. This is atrocious behavior and action should be taken. It is an insult to members of our community.
