Great if you are platinum with Ritz-CArlton

I stayed here recently (valentine's day 2015) and they were very nice to me. They were also very gay friendly. I was very nice to the front desk staff. I had a club level reservation and they upgraded me to a one-bedroom suite on the 4th floor, not much of a view, but a very comfortable room. It was my birthday, so they sent up a bottle of sparkling wine (I don't drink) and chocolate covered extra large strawberries. Also, since I don't drink, they sent up extra water bottles. Very nice touch. I would stay again in a second. Also very GLBT friendly. I think being platinum and having the Chase Ritz-Carlton card did help with checking in in the club floor. Would greatly refer people to the chase R-C card ($395 annual fee, but a $300 credit for airline misc. charges-ANY airline, so in effect it's the same annual fee as the Marriott card, which is also $95 a year. However, the R-C will give you Marriott/R/C Gold with 10K annual spend (not a bad level) and Marriott will only give you a 15 stay credit to silver status. Also, many, many travel benefits so I end up charging all my airline tickets when I can on this card-from 25K international medical expenses, to travel delays and cancellations fees, etc, etc. It goes on and on. Plus, it's the same titanium type card that Centurion AMEX is, so it's flashy when you want that. All in all, a very nice stay, and it's not over yet.
